Memorial Day weekend is one of my very favorite times. Prairie Home Companion broadcasts live from Wolftrap on Saturday. There’s something about being there with my family in the midst of all the other folks in the audience, especially for those few minutes just before the broadcast actually begins and there is singing (and usually a little dancing), that is mesmerizing. I’ve long envied the performers’ passion for their work – and now I am lucky to love what I do too . . . On that theme, I’m so excited to share that I’ll be part of the Crystal City Sparket on Wednesday, May 27! It’s a rare weekday market that runs from 11am – 2pm right in the middle of the newly transformed downtown Crystal City. It’s a great time to get outside and find unique handcrafted works, live music and of course food – this is lunchtime after all! If you’re working nearby, flying back into Reagan National after a long Memorial Day holiday – or have a long layover there before your flight onto somewhere tropical, stop by to say hi. All current Etsy inventory + some new works will be available!
