It’s Been a Year? What?!

IMG_2661Oh my, I knew I had been extremely remiss in posting anything. And just completely awful about keeping my Etsy site updated. But I can’t believe I’ve gone a whole year (exactly, which I guess makes it somewhat serendipitous that I logged on today and not yesterday or tomorrow . . .)

I’m so excited about some new shifts that will mean MORE studio time, more making time, more messy time and more keeping my $h!t together time. I’m booking a photo shoot to update this site and my online store. And when I say booking, I mean putting it on my calendar – let’s not kid I can’t be getting too fancy now. Look out for some new works to be available soon.

I’ll be switching out some pieces at Honest Soul Yoga shortly as well – if you need to see things in person, that’s the place to go on the regular. I love how my pieces are incorporated into their fancy boutique, they’re perfectly paired with crystals (you might know my penchant for collecting rocks goes back a LONG time) and other yoga lifestyle products. On April 21st, I’ll be at Grounded Coffee Shop’s Spring Craft Bazaar, fingers crossed I’ll have some of my newest works in progress completed by then!

Back soon!

Time Flies & the Bubble Monster

Bubble Monster (Right)

How long has it been since I posted here – tooooo long! And I can’t say I have a very good reason. I’ve been busy, creating some things but also trying to figure out what the Etc to do with myself.

I took a little bit of a break from markets last year but picked back up in November and remembered that while they are a lot of work, they are a lot of fun too! It’s great to be around artists at the studio and I get so many wonderful ideas from watching other potters and seeing their works but markets give me a chance to be around artists specializing in other mediums. So, I get to share my works but also look at how I might incorporate some of these into future works.

This year, I’m hoping to be present at more local events and get back to maintaining my online shop! That is, if the Bubble Monster – created for the Target Gallery March150 Art Sale & Exhibition, doesn’t get me first . .

Pop-Up Shop!

pop-up shopWoot! Lots of good news this week – snow is melting, early spring foretold by NO shadow, and I’m getting ready for my first pop-up shop at Nalls Produce on Friday! I’ve been in the studio a good bit over the last couple of weeks so I’ve got some new works ready to show . . .  functional things like bowls and mugs and some fun things I’ve been trying out.

Pottery makes great gifts (hint, I think there’s a holiday coming up soon . . .) for your loved ones – or yourself!
